His father, Gaetano Gadda, was the pupil and sole successor of Stefano Scarampella. Mario Gadda himself began his apprenticeship in his father’s workshop around 1947 as a young boy. He displayed exceptional talent and was highly regarded in numerous competitions. He made over 400 stringed instruments and became famous.
